Enjoy Technology

Enjoy is a technology-powered company reinventing “Commerce at Home” to bring the best of the store directly to customers. Enjoy operates a Smart Last Mile™ solution, which includes a network of Mobile Stores with significant inventory and trained Experts that bring greater speed, convenience and personalized experiences to customers. I was at Enjoy for the summer CO-OP in 2022, from early May to mid-August.
Project Overview
Live Schedule is an information platform for the management of order schedule, so that the captains on duty can grasp the real-time dynamics, quickly solve problems and ensure the smooth arrival of orders.
I worked with a product manager and a senior designer to redesign the platform layout and optimize the Live Schedule Alert(LSA).
My Contributions
I was able to contribute in most stages, including User Interviews, Weekly meetings, Brainstorm Sessions, and was responsible for generating solutions for platform redesigns.
OVERVIEW
An iteration of Enjoy's management platform.
About Live Schedule
Live Schedule is an information platform for the management of real-time order schedule, so that the leader of the day on duty can grasp the real-time dynamics, quickly solve problems and ensure the smooth arrival of orders.
My main goal for this project was to work with the product manager and senior designer to redesign the platform layout and optimize the exception alerting feature.
The Challenge
This platform contains a highly complex and intricate set of information within a limited space. We also needed to make it easier to understand for captains and improve their work efficiency.
The Goal
Optimize the Live Schedule platform, including information hierarchy, information board allocation, and homepage. My task objectives are to optimize the functionality of Live Schedule Alerts (LSA) in order to increase captains' LSA completion rate.

01 - EMPATHIZE & DISCOVER
Understanding users and revealing their needs.
Exploring the platform
Before this project, I didn't get the chance to explore the platform on my own. Thus, the first thing I did was to go on and explore all the different functions and features.

User Interviews
Meeting with captains in the field was essential in understanding and defining their problems while using the platform. This created a stronger pathway and direction to work towards.

We invited 3 captains from the markets that have the best LSA completion rates, and asked them the question:
02 - DEFINE
Define design goals and decide directions.
User Personas
Based on the real pain points we learned from user interviews, we created a user personas to help us better understand the day-to-day work journeys for Enjoy captains.

Additionally, even though the delivery experts are not the main users of the platform, we created a profile for them to assist in understanding the interactions between Captains and Experts (Experts usually use the Expert app to operate).
Revisit & Analyse Current Website
With all the insights in mind, I revisited our current platform. The analysis of this will be helpful in extracting achievable updates and deciding the direction.
Main Problems & Opportunity Space
From here, we identified the main problems to be solved in this project.
03 - IDEATE
Exploring among different possibilities.
Information Architecture
Before going into developing actual improvement on visual designs. We developed an information architecture in order to better present the various levels of information.
Wireframes
From here, we identified the main problems to be solved in this project.
04 - EXECTUE
Presenting and delivering final design.
Final Designs
Below are the final designs of this project. We got some really positive feedback when presenting all these to our Products and Market teams. Unfortunately, Enjoy got emerged by another company in mid August, so our developing process was interrupted by this change to the company.
